Baglings privacy policy
Last updated 2026-10-11.
Baglings is a screen pet that reacts to your Solana wallet. This page says what we store, what we read, and the choices you have. It is written for you, not for lawyers.
What Baglings stores on your phone
Your wallet address, the Mobile Wallet Adapter auth token that lets the app reconnect without asking you again, your pet's state, your settings, an install id and a small cache of your recent portfolio readings. All of this stays on your phone. It is protected by Android's app sandbox and nothing more, so keep your device locked.
What our server stores
An install id, your wallet address once you connect, and your pet's name, color, stage, and your Bags ledger. We also keep references to your top-up quotes so a payment can be matched to your account. We never store a seed phrase. We do not store your contacts, your notifications, or your location. We also count what the app does, such as feeds, purchases and screens opened, against a scrambled id that cannot be turned back into your wallet or your phone; these counts stay on our own server and are deleted after a year. Your creature's name, number and prestige appear on the Rank boards other players can see. Your wallet address is never shown there.
When you activate a Bagling, our server keeps the payment reference and the time, never your balance.
Crash reports
When the app or our server hits a bug, a technical report goes to an error server we run ourselves. It carries the app version, the device model and the error text. We strip wallet addresses, sign-in tokens and keys from every report, and we design the app not to put your pet's name into error reports. Reports are kept for 90 days. There is no ad tracking and no third-party analytics.
What we read from the chain
We read your public wallet activity through Helius and use your portfolio value to set the pet's mood. That is public on-chain data. We never sign a transaction for you and we never spend your funds. To spot new activity we briefly keep your public balances and the kind of each arrival, then delete them.
Sounds and overlay
The overlay draws the pet over your other apps. It never reads those apps or what is on your screen. The pet chirps inside the Baglings app. Overlay sound is off by default, and when you turn it on it follows your ring volume, mutes on silent and calls, and ducks under music. If you leave the overlay on, it starts again after a restart or an update and shows a quiet ongoing notice while it runs.
Third parties
Helius gives us chain data. Weather comes from our server, which works out your rough city from your connection address using the DB-IP city database (db-ip.com, CC BY 4.0), then reads the Open-Meteo forecast for that city, never your exact location. Your connection address is not stored. Our server runs on DigitalOcean. There is no ad tracking and no third-party analytics.
Your choices
You can disconnect your wallet at any time. You can turn the overlay off. Uninstalling Baglings removes everything stored on your phone. The Delete everything button in Settings clears everything on your phone and stops our server watching your wallet. To delete the record on our server, write to [email protected] and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
